Want a piece of artwork of your special pet to cherish?

As well as prints we also offer bespoke portraits of your pets. These aren’t available to purchase in our shop, as it can be quite complicated to organise as well as something that is very personal, so it requires more of a conversation to order these, as we want to be certain we’ll get it perfectly right for you. We have lots of different styles of portrait we offer, so you can be sure to find something that suits you. To order please send us an email to info@thehappypawscompany.uk, with the subject line Commission, or something similar, telling us what size and style you’d like for your portrait. We will also require a clear high resolution image of the pet you’d like for your commission. If there’s something you’d like that isn’t on this page, like a bigger size or such, then please don’t hesitate to contact us, as we should be able to sort something out for you. Before starting a commission we will ask for a 25% deposit of the final price, this protects us and you. When we have completed the commission we will send you a picture of it to check you’re happy. If you are then we will ask for the remaining money and postage cost. Once full payment has been received we will then send your commission out to you. We send portraits by first class signed for post. All commission prices are priced for one pet as standard, more pets can be added for an additional fee.

Realism

This style of portrait aims to capture the soul and character of your pet as a piece of artwork you can keep forever. We can create your piece for you using any of the mediums below, which include pencil, ink, paint and digital art. These portraits usually take roughly 2 months to complete.

Black Pencil
Watercolour
Ballpoint

Disneyfy

This kind of portrait offers you a bit of a different keepsake of your pet. This style is most commonly associated with Disney and other animated films. We take your pet and then transform them into their own character, keeping all their wonderful eccentricities and characteristics.

Coloured Pencil
Digital
Ink Lineart

Colour Splash

Our colour splash style uses mixed media. We use watercolour paint as a base which is applied loosely with bright and bold colours which we pick up from the fur colouring. Over the top we use fineliner and brush pens to draw the details of your pet. This is our most abstract style, but creates a unique piece of artwork that is quite different from most traditional portraits.
